Avarampalayam Railway Crossing, highly important junction for connecting Avinashi Highway and Mysore Highway (Ganapathy, since most of the public uses this way to reach their schools located arount peelamed and avarmapalayam and sidhapudur.
It makes very inconvenience for public/vehicle user; espicially for industrilist on their business move at this gate.
public at emergency has to divert a long route to reach hospitals when in emergency, even though the hospital is very close to crossing.
Considering this i would like the authority to provide a permanent solution to crossing without any delay with the maximum possibilities.
In the interest of Public.

The Hotel was a real marvel during its times. i remember those days when people use to come and have a glance of the city from its roof top, as Guru Hotel was the first to house a lift in this part of the state. The taste of Guru Hotel biriyani still wanders my tounge, such was its scrumptious spicy flavor.

The brief history.......
“Hotel Guru” was once a buzz word for its very famous and delicious Biriyani in the city of Coimbatore, and nevertheless its fame spread across the region to other parts of the state of Tamil Nadu. The Hotel complex’s name “GURU HOTEL” was quite synonymous to the word “city centre” during the 70’s, 80’2 until mid 90’s.
The Hotel was founded by a hardworking and dedicated man by the name 'Guruswamy Nadar' from a town named Virudhunagar around 250 kilometres from Coimbatore. With his vision rose this grand structure which also has a historical credit to its name, precisely the second tallest structure in the state of Tamil Nadu when the hotel was inaugurated amongst pomp and glanderous opening ceremony.
Guru Hotel was frequented by legendary and eminent personalities of the film industry during its existence. Many political leaders were its frequent visitors as one of Guru Hotel’s managing directors was a very influential, public personality during his times, explicitly known to one and all around the state of Tamil Nadu as Guru Mariappan.
The hotel was built in an area where once stood the famous BBH shed (Bangalore Biriyani Hotel). BBH brand and exclusive ownership was another of Mr. Guruswamy Nadar’s entrepreneurial but modest beginnings. The hotel structure’s ownership however changed during the mid 1990’s to another businessman who have changed its brand banner as “Lords Park”.
The name that use to fascinate the biriyani lovers of this erstwhile hotel in and around Coimbatore still remains. Buses plying around this part of the city still has the stop named nearby it as “mani koondu” or “ guru hotel”.
